High quality cotton rubber air chamber

Since the beginning of this year, the import of natural rubber has continued to maintain the high price operation, the price once climbed 40,000 yuan/ton of the historical high value. At present, the price is maintained at about 32,000 ~ 34,000 yuan/ton. The price of imported natural rubber has exceeded the ability of most tire production enterprises, which brings great pressure to Chinese tire enterprises.

After investigation, Yantai Inspection and Quarantine Bureau found that there are two main reasons for the high price of imported rubber. First, the shortage of raw materials caused by the rapid increase of production capacity. Take the bureau area as an example, January to May area a total of 4130 batches of tires export, year-on-year growth of 15.7%, monthly consumption of natural rubber about 15,000 tons, is expected to reach annual consumption of about 180,000 tons, year-on-year growth of 20%. In addition, some of the original production of other rubber products, even rubber derivatives of chemical products, also turned to the field of tires, surging rubber use and raw material reduction of the contradiction between the price of rubber to stimulate the surge. Second, most enterprises lack import qualification, leading middlemen to raise prices for profit.

In response, the bureau made three recommendations. First, enterprises should make full use of the price changes in the futures market to reasonably arrange purchasing and production and sales to avoid price risks. Under the circumstance that the price of natural rubber is too high at present, we should tap the potential of production, management and technology, save energy and reduce consumption, improve labor productivity and raw material utilization rate. The second is to introduce encouraging policies to expand the capacity of synthetic rubber. Synthetic rubber according to the molecular structure of natural rubber synthetic varieties can partially replace natural rubber, but the price is about 20% cheaper than natural rubber, the state should increase the support for the production of such products enterprises, improve production, reduce the tire enterprises on natural rubber dependence, to achieve the diversification of raw material sources. Third, we should strengthen the macro-control of tire industry, eliminate backward production capacity, and avoid importing countries to implement anti-dumping measures due to low price competition caused by overcapacity. We will give more support to enterprises with independent brands and intellectual property rights, guide them to win on the basis of quality, strengthen quality supervision and quality assistance to enterprises, and constantly improve product quality and market competitiveness.
